RESISTANCE GAME PLAN
OBJECTIVE:
1. Disrupt the fascist takeover of our country.
2. Stand up for the Constitution and human rights.
3. Put pressure on lawmakers, especially the top 10 - 20 vulnerable Republicans.
4. Refuse to participate in racist, sexist, supremacist language or discourse. It’s wrong, period, end of discussion.
5. Minimize or abolish purchases made to those entities supporting Trump- Maga-Musk-Project 2025 Handmaids Tale IRL
6. Boycott the worst offenders.
7. Promote Power to The People. The enemy is powerful, but they are not a majority.
8. Promote safe educated communities wherever they arise.
9. Promote community building through safe channels. Bring in fun and joy with activism.
10. Live long enough to see this mistake put on a correction course.
NOTES:
1. We need FIERCE DISRUPTORS and that is a rare and endangered breed these days. Because, convenience. That is the No. 1 reason that even my “liberal” type acquaintances offer for remaining customers/users of brands and services owned by billionaires who are participating in the 2025 USA Fascist Coup which includes bowing to blatant Anti-DEI segregationist policies and illegally seizing the data of US citizens. These are powerful forces at play (See previous Title, “The Unholy Trio”) and it will be an inconvenience in order to stop them. It will become even more inconvenient if we don’t. Alter your behavior now, when you have choices, or later, when you don’t. Fierce Disruptors choose now, no excuses, there is always an alternative source, accept a little inconvenience.
2. Persecuting minority populations is just wrong. I think we should all agree on that. Abolishing rights for groups is wrong. Genocide is wrong. The Constitution is a “living document” of the People, it sets the ground rules and the system should honor that. It outlines three co-equal branches of government, not some unitary executive bullshit these shysters are trying to push.
3. OK y’all, truth is, we only need to get 3 or 4 *Republicans to tip but we need to hedge our bets. Help them grow a spine, help them reconnect with a moral standing on the side of what is good for We The People. *or what was formerly known as Republicans.
4. Just don’t do it. Don’t engage, or if you do, then make it short and sweet “there is no middle ground, no debate” when it comes to human rights and equality. Period.
5. This is something anyone can do! But again, the convenience of it all has made some people lazy, not to be bothered to do anything differently. There is an alternative elsewhere. IF you can’t leave it all at once, then take little steps toward minimizing the attention or money you give to these entities. If you are on Facebook, Instagram, Threads, Amazon, Goodreads, Google… then you ARE supporting the regime. If you buy Tesla, you ARE supporting the regime.
6. See Note 5 above, yes, it might be inconvenient but boycotts work best when they are targeted and long term. The shorter term ones can send a message but it’s got to effect their bottom line - profits – which are calculated on monthly, quarterly, annual earnings. Make your strategic boycotts last at least 30 days and get as many people on board as possible. It’s one way to hit them in their financial statements and that will not sit well with shareholders. Please note, when shareholders have been able to vote on DEI measures, they overwhelmingly vote (98%+) to keep them!
7. Make no mistake about it, the TrumpMuskPutinMaga train, is the enemy of the country and of the people. There are MORE people that oppose the regime than support it. The oligarchy would like to run the show. There are about 3000 billionaires in the world, compared to 8.2 billion people. In the USA, there’s about 820 billionaires, wealth at around 7 trillion dollars; but there are 340 million citizens who are not billionaires. There are more of us than them, and they need us to keep or grow their wealth. It’s rigged in their favor, but it’s not impossible to flip the board. It’s been done before in history, but it will not happen with their blessing. It will only happen with our determination, with our blood, sweat and tears. I’m sorry if that is inconvenient.
8. Communities arise whenever and wherever people gather because they have something in common. Since the rise of social media, much of the community building has happened online but it’s most effective when people gather together in real life. Conversation and dialog is more respectful and healthy when one is speaking person to person, eye to eye. We do not have to agree on everything, we can agree to disagree, but we won’t have the kind of dialog and outreach that is necessary if it is confined to the internet. When we do have dialog, in person, we must bring facts and not squabble over minutia.
9. Safe channels in an environment of autocracy will mean being smart with your activism and your words, because autocrats are known for locking up people who are vocal and reactionary, who disagree with them, or can be used as a scapegoat. We cannot afford to naively believe that someone else or something else, like the law, will save us. When democracy is torn asunder, we are on our own. Be safe. Do not broadcast every intention online. Demand search warrants. Shut your mouth, especially if detained, and ask for a lawyer. Write a contact name and phone number on your arm, leg, foot, or somewhere just in case you are not conscious. Wear masks as needed. Pack a portable first aid kit. Connect with trusted sources. They will use gas, bullets, water and dogs against protesters. Plan accordingly.
10. That is the goal. For our children, for our grandchildren. They didn’t ask for this and they deserve a better world that the one we are now in.
